** Sandy Hollow Golf Course - 2500 Sandy Hollow Rd, Rockford. Groomed trail. Sandy Hollow Ski Touring Centre / Hrs: weekends 9am - 4pm, closed weekdays except with groups with advance reservations / Open on weekdays when school is out of session (except Christmas Day). Rentals available.

** Sinnissippi Golf Course - 1401 N 2nd St, Rockford. 815-987-8858. Groomed trails, no rentals or lessons.

** Lockwood Park - 5209 Safford Rd, Rockford. 815-987-8809. Shared trails of Lockwood & Page Parks, non-groomed trails, no rentals.

Snowmobiling

Rock Cut State Park / Miles:13 / Winnebago County

Snowmobiling is permitted on trails through rolling terrain from 8am to 5pm. The park, located six miles northeast of Rockford, features scenic woodlands. Snowmobilers should use the Hart Road entrance to gain access to the trail head.
